Barrett Civil Engineering (BCE) secured a contract in Barrow in Furness for BAE Systems, sub contracting through Morgan Sindall.
BCE is acting as a fully self-sufficient subcontractor and is to construct a 30 meter high, heavily reinforced concrete structure. The capabilities of BCE have been further proved by becoming the first sub contractor in the UK to undertake the design and installation of the temporary works for the reinforcement.
We have also been appointed to carry out the enabling works package which includes but not limited to, drainage, protection slabs and retaining walls.
The Primary Build Capability Facilities D59 building is due to start late December 2017 with the incentive of many further works on this site to be negotiated.
